I know exactly what you’re thinking…why in the hell would you cut out coffee?! That’s the same thing phrase that crossed my mind when my Ayurvedic doctor informed me I needed to cut out my daily caffeine fix a couple weeks ago. Coffee has literally been my obsession, how in the world was I going to get by without it. But my body needed a break. Keep reading to find out exactly why I gave it up. While we typically focus on how we can show other people love on Valentine’s Day, don’t forget to also show some love to yourself! Whether you’ll be spending the night solo, going on a romantic date night, or hanging out with girlfriends, I encourage you to find some time this week to incorporate your favorite self-love ritual. Don’t have one yet? That’s okay! Find my favorite products that help me create the space and the mood to turn inward.
When I first started my blog, I had endless ideas flowing through my brain. Every item I bought or product I tried, I couldn’t wait to take photos for the blog and write about it. I made business cards and notepads, bought blogging planners, met with friends to share all my ideas, and couldn’t wait to dive in. In the past several years I have had a lot of life transitions…from failed relationships to new relationships, living on my own, moving back in with family, job changes, career shifts, car accident recovery, self discovery, the list really goes on. As I celebrated Thanksgiving this year, I couldn’t help but think about how much my life has changed and how far I’ve come. Continue reading “Life’s Transitions”→

I’m sure you can all relate to some aspect of your life where you are your toughest critic- constantly picking out your flaws, putting weight on negative experiences, beating yourself up for failures. Do you know what I’m talking about? Continue reading “6 Self-Love Tips”→

Fear is a strange thing. It seems to come at the most inconvenient times and it’s really good at taking over. It distracts you, consumes you, and stops you. But can fear be used in your favor? Continue reading “Surrender”→
Welcome to my blog and thanks for stopping by! I’ve decided it is time for me to start documenting parts of my life I am really passionate about. Obviously two main parts of that are gratitude and grace, but I’m sure you are wondering why exactly those are so important to me. So here is a little back story….
